Here is another submission for our Healthy Kids Recipes Competition that is running on our Private Facebook Support Group for REAL MUMS to send in their healthy and yummy baking recipes that are LOVED by their kids and can be enjoyed while following a healthy eating plan.
Today we have this YUMMY recipe for you to try, Healthy Scones and a BIG Thank You to Keira-jane Rizk for submitting her recipe.
Lose Baby Weight- healthy Scones

Ingredients

  • 400g wholemeal self raising flourhealthy mummy smoothies
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1 cup mineral water
  • 1 cup macadamia milk – or milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Method

  • Preheat oven to 220deg
  • Mix flour, coconut sugar and salt together.
  • Make a well in the centre and pour in milk, vanilla and mineral water.
  • Whisk together until combined.
  • Turn out onto a flour surface and knead until it becomes like a dough.
  • Roll into balls (the size you want your scones).
  • Place on a lined baking tray sprayed with oil and Bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Allow to cool on the tray.
  • Perfect served with a little strawberry chia jam or coconut butter.
