Well its official, after a relationship that started while I was a teen, ups & downs (literally) a whole heap of dependence and an unhealthy obsession I have broken up with my scales for good!

The January challenge saw my scale numbers come to a stand still but my measurements decline.
It has taken me the longest time to really understand that a digital display was ruling my whole existence! It was a rollercoaster of unhealthy & unnecessary emotions.
It was like one morning oh wow I’m up 100grams guess ill be starving myself today, and then the next day yesss I’m down 150grams time to order one of EVERYTHING in celebration! How did I sustain such a ridiculously distorted view for that long!?
I’m glad to say the lose baby weight 28 day challenges have taught me so much more than what to put on my plate!
All of the hard work is taken out and I think that was what appealed to me most! With two under two a balanced meal plan, awesome recipes and a shopping list was like being given the holy grail.
Physically I’m stronger and have started to shrink out of my grossly overweight body but mentally is where I have seen the biggest changes.
I want to be healthy, I want to go to the gym & sweat, I want to cook, I want to be in pictures, I want to chase after my boys, I WANT this so bad and healthy mummy has given me all of the tools & support to reach my goals!
So in 2016 this mum is saying goodbye to the nasty scales and hello to a journey that will hopefully end in some good old fashion body love.
