Although I haven’t checked the scales for awhile (I decided to stop using them as I didn’t want to get myself down when the scales weren’t moving, even though I felt better in myself and could see a difference) my last weigh in I was 74kg (December).
At first my goal was to get back to my pre pregnancy weight of 62kg, but now my goal is just to eat healthy and exercise daily.
The number on the scale is literally just a number, and I don’t want it to define me. ‘Dieting’ after giving birth to my daughter made me obsessed with what the scales told me, resulting in binge eating (if the number went up) which in turn made me pile on the kilos. I was unhappy and unhealthy.
Before having my two children I felt I was outgoing but as my number one priority became being a Mum, I put my health aside and lost a big part of me. Since discovering Lose Baby Weight (just by googling ‘How to lose baby weight’) I have regained my lost confidence and feel like a completely new person.

I’m so excited to be one of the Motivating Mums for January.
We all wake up January 1st with our New Years resolution to be fit and healthy for the year, I hope that I can inspire and motivate you to make it through this tough month.
Something that has always stuck with me is the 21/90 rule, it takes 21 days to create a habit and 90 days to create a lifestyle.
If you can just stick with it, I promise you in no time you will be exercising because you want to not because you have to.
I love the positive support group that Healthy Mummy provides. Everyone is at a different stage in becoming healthy mummies, and it’s reassuring to have people to turn to when you’re having a bad day.

The 28 Day Challenge is my favourite product (followed very closely by the Healthy Mummy Smoothies). The stress of meal planning is completely taken away, all I have to do is hop online every Wednesday, customise what I want, print my shopping list and it’s all done.
I have always been someone who skipped breakfast until I brought my first smoothie tub in January 2015. Now breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, I actually dream about what smoothie combination I’m going to make for my breakfast the next morning.
Not only do I use the mix for making smoothies but I also add it to pancakes, muffins, biscuits, the possibilities are endless.
I’m forever gratefully I came across Lose Baby Weight and decided to join the 28 Day Challenge.
My favourite quote is ‘Little by little, step by step, without drastic measures, I will get there’.
