Hi I’m Jackie one of the maintenance mums for this month.  I’m 33 years old, single Mum to my nearly 3 year old little man.  I’ve been using all things lose baby weight for 14 months and have lost 25kg going from 80kg to 55kg.
I have been maintaining this loss for 3 months now.

I’ve been a member of the 28 day challenges since I started on this journey in July 2014 and love the structure they gave me when I was starting out.
The meals were easy to prepare, tasted delicious and the plans took away the need for me to think about what was for dinner!
Now that I am maintaining my weightloss I don’t follow the challenges as strictly as I once did but I can’t ever imagine not being a member.  I simply love the recipes too much and would hate to miss out on any!

I also continue to use the healthy mummy smoothies every day.  I love them for their convenience on time poor days, I love that I can have veggies in my breaky smoothie, I love the energy they give me and that they’re packed with all the nutrients my body needs.
But I especially love how delicious they are!!  Throughout my weigtloss stage of my journey I found they were also great for portion control as they filled me up!
So for this blog I thought I’d share a little about me and my story.  I’ve always been big. My whole life; as a kid, as a teenager, as an adult, pre baby and post baby.  Always.  My whole life has been a journey of lose a few kilos and gain it back plus more and it had taken it’s toll on my emotional wellbeing, esteem, confidence, happiness; on my whole life really.
When my son was 18 months old I knew I wasn’t being the best Mum I could be.
I was tired, sad, tearful, irritable, lazy and just generally not a nice person to be around.
My weight was the driving force behind all this. I knew I had to change. My son deserved more. I deserved more.
I found lose baby weight and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve turned my life around.
I’m the exact opposite of all those things now. I’m energetic, I laugh alot, I’m patient, active, happy, confident, fun and proud. I’m a good Mum. The kind my son deserves.
I’ve lost 25kg and gained a whole new outlook on life; mentally and physically.  And I’m pretty darn proud of that.
I thank lose baby weight for showing me the best and healthiest way to do this.  I have never once felt hungry or deprived, never felt as though I’m missing out.
I’ve had a complete lifestyle change, I eat to fuel my body, I enjoy exercise, I like to challenge myself.
This lifestyle is here to stay for me because I can remember what I used to feel like and I refuse to go back there!
