My name is Jackie, I’m a single, working and studying Mumma to a beautiful 2 year old boy.  I have been using the healthy mummy and lose baby weight plans and products since July 2014 and I have lost 25kg!

I LOVE everything lose baby weight has to offer!  I have completely transformed my life from a sad shell of a person to now being healthy, happy and full of energy.
I continue to use the 28 day challenge plans and recipes simply because I love them.  The variety is incredible and the food totally delicious.
The May belly buster edition has been my favourite so far, the tandoori chicken and apple quesadillas are standouts for me.
I also have a smoothie for lunch 5 days a week because I love them too! Experimenting with flavour combinations is fun; I’m finding new favourites still after using them for 10 months!
I’m at my goal weight now and have reached a stage in my journey now where I’m shifting focus to maintaining my weight and concentrating on toning and fitness.
I’ve found this shift in mindset quite challenging and something I am working through slowly.  I’ve spent months focused on eating a certain amount of food to lose weight so eating more than that feels a little weird, but I’ll get there!
I now have a wealth of knowledge about nutritious clean food and how amazing it makes me feel, so am finding as long as I apply this knowledge and make mindful food choices then I am on the right track.
I’ve also had a good look through the lose baby weight website blogs from other Mum’s who are at a similar stage to me, I can always find a story that I relate to with lots of helpful hints and inspiration.
The facebook support group is amazing for this too and I owe alot to the supportive and beautiful women in the group!
Lose Baby Weight- Challenge
Exercise wise, this past month I have accomplished some pretty amazing things with my running.  Breaking pb’s and running my furthest distance ever!
I was never a runner, and I mean NEVER! I used to think the term “fun run” was a ridiculous concept.  But as I became fitter I wanted to challenge this idea, so have been giving it a go.
I won’t go so far as to say I love it yet, but I certainly like it, and I love how it makes me feel after.  So if you’re looking to start running, I urge you to try, if I can then you absolutely can!!
I am also loving the challenge exercises, particularly the addition of the core and pilates exercises.  They have really helped, especially with my sights set on toning and shaping my body.
I still continue to do my 3 gym classes a week too, they’re part of my life now and give me some much needed me time.
So as a final word, I’ve found this past month that at times I’ve struggled with my motivation (perhaps related to being at goal weight…not sure yet).
I’ve found the best method for me to deal with this is giving myself a little talking to that goes a bit like this: just get out there and do it, you don’t have to run a marathon but you do have to do SOMETHING because it is far better than doing nothing.
So if this is you, remember you’re not alone in the feelings of “I can’t be bothered”, there are many other people going through the same thing.  It’s how you react to these feelings that will make all the difference.
Life is about choices and I choose to be healthy.
