My name is Helen and I’m one of your motivating mums for May.
I first signed up with Lose Baby Weight in October 2014. I struggled to commit to it fully because of my mindset at the time.I didn’t have a supportive partner so I had no encouragement. I gave up so easily. I also constantly put the kids before myself, I became so unhappy, but as long as I knew the they were happy that was all that mattered to me.

I tried going for walks but the kids hated being in the pram, I just couldn’t get it to work. Again, I gave up.
I became a completely different person when I became a single mum.It made me a stronger woman.It was an extremely tough time as it was a very messy break-up.I was dealing with that and raising two kids.I was emotionally wrecked.
About a month later I said no more and started the 28 Day Challenge again, I also joined a gym.
I needed to put me first, just this once, and I’m so glad I did. I’m healthier and happier in myself. I can do so much more with my kids because I’m no longer embarrassed and hiding away from the world . I wouldn’t have got here without the 28 Day Challenge .It has taught me so much about eating the right food and helped me to discover a love for exercise.
I have lost 31 kgs and over 98 cm from my body.
