Healthy Mummy reader, Shelley Robb is the queen of bliss balls, and she has created us yet another delicious master piece. These maple bliss ball bites are so moorish and the glaze is SO YUMMY. At under 100 calories per ball, they are the perfect little treat if you’re sticking to a healthy eating plan.
Ingredients (balls)
- 1 cup pitted dates (soaked in boiling water for 15 minutes then drained)
- 1 cup cashews
- 1 cup oats
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons cacao (can use cocoa)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Method (Balls)
- Blitz dates until broken down and sticky
- Add remaining ingredients and blitz until well combined
- Roll into balls and place into freezer to set
Ingredients (Glaze)
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil1 tablespoon maple syrup
Method (Glaze)
- Mix all ingredients together until smooth and well combined.
- Remove balls from the freezer and spoon glaze over top. ( I did one coat, let it set then did a second coat)
- Pop in fridge/freezer to set.
Can be stored in fridge or freezer.
Makes 24 balls at 92 calories each
