Hello Ladies,My name is Claire and I have lost 26kg with Lose Baby Weight.
I first discovered Lose Baby Weight when I was 5 months post-partum. I was depressed about my weight and couldn’t bear to even look at myself in the mirror.
I started on the 1st Sep 2014 weighing in at 88kg. I started off my journey by participating in the Lose Baby Weight challenges. The food was amazing! Our daughter was one of my main motivations to get healthier and to completely overhaul our family’s diet.
I wanted her to grow up enjoying healthy foods and being active. I had to be a positive role model for her and that meant I had to change my lifestyle. Lose baby weight has educated me how to cook easy, delicious, nutritious, family friendly and budget friendly meals.
I have now developed a love for exercise and aim to exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes per day 5 days per week. I have lost 26kg to date and have gained health, energy, self respect, pride and confidence.
My Top Tips For A Successful Weightloss Journey
- Be Prepared! I often do a big cook up one day a week and store the food in the freezer. This prevents me from making bag food choices when I’m short on time.
- Meal Plan! It helps to keep you on track and makes budgeting so much easier.
- Throw out the junk food! Clean the pantry, fridge and freezer out of all those naughty foods. Helps to avoid temptation.
- Make small changes when first staring out, will help avoid becoming too overwhelmed.
- Just aim to do a minimum of 30 minutes of activity/exercise to your day. Walking, running, circuits, gym, dancing, what ever gets your heart rate up and something you love.
- Give it time!!! You didn’t gain all those unwanted kg overnight so you wont loose them overnight either. It takes time and persistence.
- Take progress pictures. The scales can lie!! So take pictures and measurements to keep a record of how your progressing.
