This is a great recipe for making with the kids, as it’s part chocolate crackle and no baking required!

Chocolate Nutty SliceChocolate Nutty Slice

Ingredients

  • 4 cups brown puffed rice
  • ⅓ cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp cacao
  • 2 tbsp mixed dried fruit
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ⅓ cup light milk
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 100g dark chocolate melts

Method

  • In a mixing bowl, mix everything except peanut butter and chocolate together until combined.
  • Press into slice tray and freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
  • Spread peanut butter over the top and freeze for ten minutes.
  • Then spread melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
  • Freeze for another ten minutes and then it’s ready!

Recipe makes 20 serves, 97 calories per serve.
