Hi Mums! My name is Chloe and I have lost a total of 48cm from my body since starting back on the 28 day challenges in July this year.
Lose Baby Weight-48cms lost

I see the results on my tape measure and I feel great when I see the numbers going down. But sometimes it is hard to ‘believe’ the results.
I guess when you know you have let yourself go to a point you never imagined it can be a little tough at times to feel 100% positive about yourself, as I know I still have so far to go.

BUT in saying that, I remind myself how far I have come.
That I can’t get to where I want to be if I hadn’t of made the progress I have made so far.
I am at my half way point, and for that I am so proud.
My partner laughs and shakes his head every time I ask him “Are you sure I have lost weight?” “Do you think my tummy looks smaller?” (which is a lot lately lol).
I have grown up my whole life being judged as the ‘fat girl’ by those closest to me. People who you think should love you no matter what.
So even though I am very lucky to have a supportive partner I am still learning to believe it for myself.
Learning to let those voices in the back of my head fade out as I continue to embark on this weight loss journey.

The Healthy Mummy/Lose Baby Weight FB Support group has been an amazing motivator for me.
It shows me that every body is going through their own individual battles, that everyone has come from somewhere they weren’t happy with and that the mums who have already got to where they want to be still continue to be challenged at times.
It shows me that we are all just trying to get to our place of happy in our body image and that we aren’t alone.
I am working really hard to finally do what I have set out to do for countless years, have a summer body that I can feel comfortable in.
I have kept up with my exercise ensuring I always allow myself to have that time for me. Even if it isn’t till the kids are in bed.
I think something I have come to realise is that I really enjoy the variety of exercise I have planned for myself. I have at least 2 days a week where I go for a walk either along the coast or to take the kids to school.
I have incorporated The Healthy Mummy Postanatal DVD at least once a week. I do the 28 day tone up challenge. Plus I have just started Jacob’s Ladder (in Perth) once a week which is 242 steps each way.
It really makes me look forward to each form of exercise as I don’t dread the repetitiveness of any of them.

I have started having a ‘cook up day’ each week to prepare me for the week ahead.
This has helped tremendously with allowing more time for the day to day life of a mum of four. It means that I am still able to put me as a priorty, while still being able to put my kids needs first.
Going ahead for the remainder of my month as MM I plan to continue with what I am already doing.
It is working for my busy lifestyle and it is also keeping me focused. I have started spending 20mins of the night before bed reading through all the amazing posts of the mums and Lose Baby Weight Team on The Healthy Mummy/Lose Baby Weight FB Support Page as this has been an AMAZING motivator for me.
I feel that it keeps you grounded and focused on what you want for your own self.
I continue to have a smoothie each morning for breakfast. I just cant praise enough how much this helps me to still get breakfast in and get my mind focused for the day ahead.
I NEVER used to eat breakfast before this program.
This has been a huge change for me and I notice the difference between my bloating which is practically non existent and the fact that I don’t pick in between meals anymore.
I have been going strong with the weekly plans on the challenge.
The meals just seem to get better and better! We had the Chicken Parmigiana the other week and also the Lemon & Ginger Beef with Greens and wow! Two of my new favourites!

I just can’t believe how amazing the food is, how you feel like you are just eating ‘normal’ food and yet here I am getting closer to my goals.
That’s the most amazing thing about this program, no fad diets, no starving yourself it’s all just a healthy lifestyle change. One that you can carry on till the end of time!
I am continuing to learn so much about myself, learning how to make healthy choices and use different ingredients and also learning how to change the way my kids eat.
This has shown a huge improvement in their behaviour and their way of relating to food. I love how now my kids ask me “Has that got too much sugar mummy?” “Will this make me big and strong like Captain America?” <my three year old hehe “Will this make me healthy for when I play AFL footy?” <my six and nine year old (Which I of course answer “yes yes yes it will” haha).
This is one of my main motivators. Seeing the healthy mindset I am implementing into my kids relationship with food. Something I never had.
You can do it ladies! Believe in yourself xo
Chloe xx

Hayley says: “I do my own weekly meal plans using the customisable meal plan from the 28 Day Challenge.I love how on Lose Baby Weight our weekly menu has changed from a heavy meat based menu to being vegetarian at least 3 nights a week and then on the nights we do eat meat it doesn’t dominate the meal like it used to.”
