Let me start from the beginning of my weight gain journey.
I am a mother to 3 beautiful children aged 5, 3 and 8 months.
During all three pregnancies I did no favours to my body through what I ate and the amount of exercise I did (or should I say didn’t do).
Before I had kids I was about 75kgs. When I was pregnant the first time I put on 10 kilos which I thought was great, as it wasn’t going to be too much of a problem to lose all that weight easily.
I thought wrong.
I tried and tried and only lost about 5 of the 10 kilos.
Then I fell pregnant for the second time, where I put on another 10 kilos.

Every month, a mum who is on the Lose Baby Weight plans will be writing about their journey, exercise, ups and downs and will be here to help motivate YOU and THEMSELVES along the way.
If you’d like to become our Motivating Mum for the month click here (we pay you for it too!).
Last week we introduced Eleanor Hannah. She has already lost 20kg on the Lose Baby Weight plans and has overcome some major obstacles along the way. You can read Eleanor’s first post here.
We now have Eleanor’s second post and she has managed to get some great weight loss results even though she has been super busy.
‘Well its one week into the month already, and it’s been a full on week.
Our car broke down, we had to borrow a car to pick up family from the airport, and we had a birthday party which I made 4 cakes for on Saturday.
So today I feel like I’m starting to get on top of washing, cleaning, and dishes after everyone leaving on Sunday.
Eating wise it has been pretty good, I only had one slice of cake (hooray for me!) and a couple of chocolates.

In January this year we were so happy to hear from Kate Browne (nee English) when she reached her goal weight using the Lose Baby Weight plan and Healthy Mummy Smoothies. She had dropped 17.5kg and you can read Kate’s past story here.
And now 4 months later we have caught up with Kate (who is now married – congratulations Kate!) to see how she is going with her weight loss maintenance. Would you believe she has lost even MORE weight – now 20.5kg down and feeling fantastic!

After reading the Lose Baby Weight website and seeing that I could still breastfeed my then 3 month old while using their healthy mummy smoothies, I decided I needed to try it and everything about it lived up! The products, healthy mummy smoothies and 28 day diet & exercise plan has transformed me and I could not be happier or prouder. And my milk supply has increased dramatically.
While I was pregnant with my new addition, now 6 months old, I told the doctor I was not happy, just before giving birth I was weighing 122kg (BMI 39.8)! Was I ever going to find myself again? I felt like all this weight was literally suffocating me and making me sad. I avoided photos because I did not like the way I looked. At my 6 week post birth check-up, we discussed my weight again, I was 109kgs (BMI 35.6), 3kgs heavier than when I got pregnant with number 3.

Last week
Last week I would say I stuck to my 28 day diet and exercise meal plan and made good food choices about 95% of the time. There were a couple of occasions where plans changes at the last minute and I was stuck outside the house with no food for lunch etc but I tried to make good choices on those occasions.

I was about 75kg (6kg over my ideal weight) when we conceived in March 2012, by the time I was induced at 40weeks + 10 days on December 17th I weighed in at 95kg!
With our wedding in May 2013 I was determined to get back to a healthy weight and shape while making sure our baby was getting all the goodness I could provide him breast feeding.
When I found the Lose Baby Weight website I called up and discussed the healthy mummy smoothies and found out not only could I have them while breastfeeding but it could help to boost my milk supply so I went ahead and bought them.
