Hi my name is Nicole Daniels and just wanted to share my weight loss story so far.
I have always struggled with my weight nearly my whole life.
I had lost weight before, and then in 2010 I had my beautiful daughter and gained 30 kilos.
I lost a bit but was never happy with my size. Then in 2012 I had a gorgeous son and gained 20 kilos.
After the birth I lost a bit of weight but then started to put weight on.
I needed to do something then I came across Lose Baby Weight.

A couple of months ago we started running the MOTIVATING MUM SEGMENTS and they have proved to be extremely popular with mums entering to be the motivating mum and with the mums on our site reading the Motivating Mums blog posts – so everyone loves them – YAY! You can enter to become our motivating mum here too
So we have decided to bring a few more motivating mums on board to help everyone stay motivated so here is Eleanor Hannah who will be trying to reach her goal weight and motivating herself and you in her weekly blog posts and Facebook posts – welcome Eleanor – below is her first post – YOU CAN DO IT ELEANOR!!
Hi I’m Eleanor, I’m super excited to be one of the motivating mums for Lose Baby Weight in May
it’s going to keep me focused on my weight loss goal, and I am excited about motivating others.
I am a mum of 4 Beautiful girls One is my step daughter who lives in NZ
So we have a 1 yr old, an almost 3 yr old and a 8 year old my step daughter is 8 too ![]()
When I was younger I struggled with my weight although looking back now I had nothing to worry about, but I always felt chunky, I think it was due to having bigger boobs than all of my friends. After I had my first daughter and after I separated from her dad I got to a place that I was super happy with my body, fast forward 1yr or so to 2008 and I got married I felt awesome and strong.
We fell pregnant with our first child in 2009 I didn’t put on much weight and kept exercising throughout the pregnancy and lost any weight I put on not long after she was born, fast forward 6 months and my Hubby was diagnosed with cancer stage 2 in his lymph nodes in his stomach recurring from testicle cancer 4 years before, the bottom of my world fell out.
Hubby endured 5 months approx of chemo, which was 5 full days at the hospital a week it was horrible watching him go through chemo, it was so hard trying to keep on going day to day, taking miss 5 to school and then taking miss 6 months to the hospital then after hubby had finished for the day miss 5 went to a very good friends and I took miss 6 months to work with me for as long as shed last then would head home and sort dinner.

Hi my name is Kristie and I would love to share my weight loss journey with you all.
Firstly I would love to thank Lose Baby Weight for all the help and support!
I have always been skinny my whole life, up until I fell pregnant with my first son back on March 2009 when I weighed 68kgs.
The day I went into labour with my first son I weighed 97.2 kgs.
After having my son I lost 15kgs in the first week or so.
The lightest I got down to after having my first son was 72kgs. Then I went up to 75kgs and stayed at that weight for a while.

I gave birth to my second daughter in July 2012. Before I fell pregnant I was 60kg. By the time I gave birth I was about 94kg!
Within a month or so of giving birth, I had lost all the fluid and was down to about 82kg. This is where I was when I discovered The Healthy Mummy Smoothies in September 2012
I liked that it was breast-feeding friendly and had online support.
I decided to get the Healthy Mummy Smoothies, and would make them for breakfast and lunch most weekdays, then have a big meal for dinner.

Hi Lose Baby Weight mums – another week gone already! Time flies when you’re having fun….
This weeks’ focus has been fitness. I have been really active this week and I’m really getting into my jogging. I was so proud of myself on Sunday morning by jogging 6km without stopping- that’s a lifetime record for me!

I nearly stopped about 2kms in but before I did, I chose a tree in the distance and challenged myself to keep going until I reached it. Once I reached it, I chose another tree and kept going until I got to that one. I was

Our motto at Lose Baby Weight is and always has been to only ever even think start to about losing weight until you feel 100% ready.
You should never feel like you have to lose pregnancy weight gain by a certain date and you should never rush to lose the weight or compare your own post baby body to that of a celebrity as the two are just not comparable. And you can read more about this here
The number one focus should always be on the health of the mum and the baby. Then when you feel up to it, you can start exercising and focusing on diet more. For some mums this can be a couple of months post birth and for others it can be a few years. We are all different so don’t compare to others and go by when is right for you and you only.
I am the owner and founder of Lose Baby Weight (that’s me below with my big bub) and I had my second ‘little’ boy on 31 Dec and at the 8 week mark I felt physically and emotionally ready to start with the weight loss – but please note just because I was ready then, it does not mean that if you had your baby at a similar time as me or before me that you will or should be ready at 8 weeks – everyone is different and we all reach the ‘ready’ point at a different point and we all have different lives and different pressures to juggle and deal with.

I gained around 18kg during my pregnancy and lost 12kg while in the hospital.
Back at home I only managed to drop another kilo even though I was breastfeeding and walking occasionally.
I would always feel terrible when I got on the scales month after month and see that my weight hadn’t budged.
After 8 months of struggling I decided I needed help, especially since I was getting married next year and that is when I found the Lose Baby Weight plans.

Ok I know this is a weight LOSS story, but let me first tell you my weight GAIN story.
I had always been very athletic, tall and slim (around 65-70kg and 172cm tall, size 10-12).
When I was 20 I got glandular fever (January) and it hit hard, borderline chronic fatigue, so my weight went up around 5-10kg as my exercise dropped.
I went onto hormonal contraception as I was getting married and that did me no good, I piled on about 10 more kilograms by October.
My weight kept climbing up after this until I hit 100kg in 2009.

When it comes to weight loss, it could be said that it’s a marathon, not a sprint. It’s very easy to get caught up in those initial first laps of the race, as you’re filled with excitement and plenty of spur-you-on motivation.
As the race continues though, you might start to slow down a little as that initial burst peters out, leaving you with the reality of what still needs to be done.
