Hi Everyone, My name is Brooke Stagg, and I’m one of the motivating mums for the countdown to summer and I have lost 34kgs* with Lose Baby Weight.

This Blog is all about the busy mum life style and just how great the Lose Baby Program has been for me and how I still managed to fit the Lose Baby Weight Program in my busy schedule along with a two week plateau I was dealing with.

This past month for my self has been very full on for myself as a mother,  my family has had endless weeks of the flu/colds along with the gastro and during this time I got a back injury which means I now need to rest and do light exercise during the next six weeks.
I also had trouble trying to stay motivated as I was on a plateau for two weeks and as  I’ am writing this I have had to adapt to a new routine change of my husband working full time and he has had rather long hours that  meant I have had to take on the full mother role of doing everything for the children and house hold duties which means I have found it hard for my  meal prepping and keeping on track these last two weeks and also learning to know it’s still ok to take time out for my self.
So during this reflection I have looked back at my mistakes which has lead my week to be better prepared.
My days for baking was originally  Sunday afternoons, so basically now that my husband is at work full time, I now bake Sunday nights when my children are asleep, this helps the school lunch meals to be prepped in advance and my snacks as well.
During this time I have had to re adapt to a new exercise routine so this means I also managed to do light cardio exercise from the Healthy Mummy Post Natal Dvd and the 28 Day Challenge exercises at night time when my children are asleep and this is something I have done every night for the last two months because I find it very hard to fit in my exercise during the day since our routine has had such a major change.

The benefits that I have received from The Lose Baby Weight Program is knowing that my meal planning is already done and customising my meal plan to suit my life style and budget takes less than 15 minutes at a time and all I need to do is print my shopping list.
Meal Planning has been so easy for me by been on Lose Baby Weight and has been my key to success, because I have access to some of the free recipe eBooks, I also  get access to the recipe hub which is all under categories so if I need to stay on a budget I can guarantee that I can look up an ingredient such as pork mince or a recipe  I may be  craving such as Asian recipes and I know that I can find many recipes I can use to create a healthy meal for my large family there as well to help with my meal prepping.
I have also had the benefits of my exercise daily planner been able to be printable so I can leave the planner on my fridge so I never forget about my exercises along with my food menu planner so I know what meals I need to prep and know what I’m eating for that day.
So just by been on this program has took the stress away of so many things and I’m always excited for our new challenges as they are always new and refreshing so I never get bored from it.

So during my two week Plateau I was on, today I weighed in and finally the scales moved down and I have lost 1.3kg which now means my weight loss is 32.3Kg and for me as someone who has been relying on the scales for the last six months I have realised just how important it is to keep focused and remember why we started because if your think like me and get upset over the scales not going down then it can be un motivating.
So my tips I would like to give you to keep you on track is

  • Don’t worry about the number on the scales as during my two week plateau I still lost a total of 6cm off my body.
  • Keep replacing bad food for healthy snacks such as fruit, nuts, yoghurt snacks and healthy baking treats
  • Keep on top of your water intake
  • Make a motivation board of your goals you want to achieve
  • Make time to exercise and also remember to exercise when you don’t want to as you will feel better ending the day knowing you gave it your all.

As I look now and realise the countdown to summer comes so much closer I want to take the time to thank you for reading my blog and wish you all the best as we continue to countdown to summer together.
