Hello everyone!  My name is Bethany, I am one of the Motivating Mums for April and have lost a HUGE 59kgs* with Lose Baby Weight.
I started my journey with Lose Baby Weight on the 25th April 2015 (getting ready to celebrate my 1 year anniversary!) after reaching my heaviest weight at 115kg.  I was depressed, run-down, moody, constantly sick and filled with anxiety.  I had no confidence and avoided leaving my house.  I was surviving but not living.

As I sat on the lounge with a block of chocolate and packet of tim tams on my lap, scrolling the newsfeed on my phone, I came across a Lose Baby Weight post advertising their 28 day challenges.  I jumped onto the website and had a look and it sounded great.

Excitedly I told hubby all about this amazing program and asked if I could join.  He rolled his eyes and reluctantly agreed.  He had heard all this before.  He has paid for every diet shake, pill, meal plans and programs before and I only ever ended up bigger than I had started by the end of them.
I couldn’t blame him for being critical of me and this program.  But I signed up and excitedly printed my meal plan and did an online shop straight away.
I was ready to start!
I remember every detail of that night so clearly because it was the night my life changed!
Almost a year later and I have lost an enormous 56kg* and now weigh 59kg.  Yep, I have almost halved my body weight.
I am healthier and happier than ever and have maintained this weight loss for 4 months.  I have gone from a couch potato who couldn’t even stand up for longer than 10 minutes without pain in my legs and feet to now training for a 50km ultra marathon.
I love life and am a better mother and wife for my family.  I am not surviving anymore … I am living!
The Lose Baby Weight 28 day challenges are just incredible.  Almost a year later and I am still following them.
I customise them to suit my lifestyle and dietary requirements (I am currently undergoing tests for coeliac disease so cannot have gluten) and find it all super easy.  The key for me has been in meal prep.  I do a big cook-up on the weekend and freeze the meals so I don’t have to cook during the week.
Being a mum of 3 young children (5, 3 and 1) I am very time poor.  My eldest daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and my toddler was born with 2 congenital heart defects so even though I am stay at home mum, I never have a spare second to stop.

Lose Baby Weight has given me the tools to make healthy life style choices that work within my busy schedule.  Did you know it is actually possible to have a healthy, nutritious and delicious meal on the table in the same time it takes to go through the drive-thru and order a greasy meal at the local take-away?   It is.  The challenges taught me this.
Lose Baby Weight is so much more than losing weight though.  It taught me to be kind to myself.  I was my biggest bully and didn’t even realise it until I joined the support group.  It isn’t just about physical health but also about your emotional and mental health.  This is the only program I have come across that cares for the person as a whole.
Now, almost a year later, I am a completely changed person.  I love running around with my kids and taking them to the park.
As a family we live a very active lifestyle now and have so much fun together!
We love experimenting with smoothies and my girls ask me every morning for a “moovie” (smoothie, minus the mix) for their breakfast.
Lose Baby Weight gave me my life back but it also gave my husband his wife back and gave my children a better mother!
I am really looking forward to motivating you and getting to know you all over this next month.  I can’t wait to share the rest of my journey with you as I finish my marathon training and prepare for my very first ultra marathon.
And even better, I can’t wait to celebrate my 1 year anniversary on Lose Baby Weight with you all as a Motivating Mum.
