On Saturday we celebrated my son’s 2nd birthday. And it really hit home for me. I honestly have no idea where the last two years have gone. They’ve literally flown by.

I can still remember, clear as day my little 3kg bundle of joy and the very first moment he was put into my arms. In between though? Gosh it’s like a massive blur!!!
Those were the thoughts running through my head all day Saturday. I can only imagine how I’m going to feel or what I’m going to be thinking on Friday when my daughter (my eldest child) puts on her uniform and I walk her to school for the very first time.
I’m excited for her, but at the same time I’m so unbelievably sad that time just seems to be running away from me and they’re both growing up way too quickly.  I’m 100% sure that I am not the only mother that feels this way.
What on earth does this have to do with weightloss you say? Basically, the point is that time waits for nobody.
You might be the person that’s thinking to yourself that you really need to lose weight.
You might be the person that’s considering taking the big leap and joining up to the Lose Baby Weight 28 Day Challenge.

As mums we all know that there just aren’t enough hours in the day and the months just seem to slip on by without us even noticing. Our children are growing up before our eyes.
But if you haven’t started yet, this time next month or next year, you’ll look back and be wishing you had.  If you haven’t really been putting in 100% effort, then I can guarantee this time next month you’ll be wishing you had.
How do I know? Because that was me for a very long time. I’m not going to lie, some months it still is. And I’ve discovered that the disappointment in myself comes from knowing that I can never get that time back.
So don’t wait. Don’t wait to start properly on Monday. Who cares what day it is?!! Throw away the excuses and challenge yourself to give it all you’ve got.
You’ll amaze yourself with what you can achieve and you won’t have to worry about all the ‘what ifs’ or ‘I should haves’.
Instead you’ll be able to look in the mirror and be proud of all that you’ve achieved since you made the commitment.
