So there is no way I could have predicted how hard it was actually going to be to stay on track of my weightloss during Christmas!

Everything seemed pretty easy until December and then everyone started requesting my famous shortbread and I had a chrisco order delivered (which I had ordered over 10 months ago way before I started Lose Baby Weight) which had my xmas ham and LOADS of junk food.

The temptation was upon me but I am glad to report that I stayed strong!  (apart from the ham I’m sad to say I have buckled and eaten it but everything in moderation )

I made the requested shortbread , but altered the recipe Lose Baby Weight style and used wholemeal flour and coconut oil and everybody loved it! Yay for the healthy win!

And the chrisco order which had 12 packets of pringles and 24 bottles of soft drink? not going to lie EVERY TIME  someone comes over I serve them pringles and soft drink (better them than me!)

And I have found by removing temptation I’m less likely to want it but I do realise the sudden impact Lose Baby Weight has had on me at this time of the year more than any other time.

Its taught me to look at a recipe I once used to make and think of a healthier more nutritious way to make it, its taught me its ok to have yummy wonderful shortbread just not 10 pieces lol

Everything is fine just in moderation

So during the silly season dont beat yourself for not staying on track

Just stay committed to the pledge that you made when you started this journey and you will be fine!
