Hi Mums, I have lost 25kgs* with Lose Baby Weight and I am one of your motivating mums for November.
I am a 32 year old mum of 2 and have ALWAYS struggled with my weight.  From being the biggest in my family (including extended family), bigger than most of my friends etc. that was life.

I have been on a “diet” pretty much my whole adult life trying all of the well-known and some of the not so well-known diet fads.
I restricted this food, that food, all foods, went crazy exercising all to no avail.  All of them lasting a month here, couple of months there.
But nothing maintainable that worked with also living a life!  I honestly thought that it was my destiny to be the “big girl”.
After the birth of my second beautiful girl, I leveled at the heaviest I have ever been and in the 3 figures.
I lost my mother 4 years ago because of her lifestyle choices and now as a mother of 2 girls I wanted to be a role model for them in health and vitality, so they didn’t lose me because of my lifestyle choices.  I had to do something!

I then saw an offer via Mumgo for Lose Baby Weight.  I looked into it, looked at the website and thought, well, I’ve tried lots of other things, may as well try this one so I signed up for 1 month.
Little did I know at the time this would be the absolute best decision I had ever made!
I started with the November challenge 2014 and my first day coincided with our last lot of family pictures.  I saw these pictures and was absolutely devastated, but remained focused on getting into the Lose Baby Weight lifestyle.
I focused mainly on food, getting the right food and enough of it.  I was breastfeeding at the time I was amazed at how I was losing weight and eating in excess of 2000 calories!!  What?  A program that allows you to eat?  Seemed crazy, but there was so much proof.
I joined the Facebook group and used the stories, courage and success of everyday women just like me to push me along.
I started walking with my girls in the pram, squats in the kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil, leg lifts while watching TV at the end of the day.  Before I knew it, I had lost my first 10 kgs!
My husband had been eating the same meals and was dropping weight too.  What a great example we were setting for our children!

As the months passed, my hubby fell off the bandwagon which would normally mean I would too.  Nope, not this time.  I had a determination that I had not had before.  I would no longer be the “big girl”.  I would be the healthy girl!
So I continued, using the support from thousands of strangers via the Facebook group and I kept going.  Although my progress slowed, I have never let it derail me.
I now work full time after going back to work, I am still living and breathing the Lose Baby Weight lifestyle and I am growing each and every day.
So, here I am, 25 kgs down, well past my pre-pregnancy weight, past my wedding weight and well on my way to being my lightest ever adult weight.
I have started running where I have never been a runner before – in fact, I used to struggle doing the 100 metres at school sports days.
I have not had ANY standard take away (think drive throughs) in over a year and I have completely changed the way I view food and life.

November sees my first of many Lose Baby Weight-versaries and I am beyond thrilled to be a motivating mum.
12 months ago I would never had had the confidence to do this, but although my waistline has shrunk, I have grown in ways I never thought possible.
I will be challenged this month as my family and I go on our first holiday in well over 18 months, but I see it as just another step in life and this is all about changing my life.
I plan on being able to run for at least 30 minutes non-stop by the end of November and to get myself re-focused and organised.  I look forward to motivating as many people as I can while keeping myself motivated.
