How Do The Products & Plans Work?

28 Day Plan

The Lose Baby Weight Plans have been designed to be simple and easy to follow.

The key points to note are:
  1. You can have The Healthy Mummy Smoothies on their own plan to lose weight or use our 28 Day Diet & Exercise Plan on it’s own – or use a combination of both – which many mums choose to do to have greater flexibility with meal planning and structure to follow too
  2. The Healthy Mummy Smoothie is safe in breastfeeding but is used by breastfeeding and NON breastfeeding mums and our plans are used by new mums, older mums, grand mums and even husbands!
  3. You can replace your breakfast and or lunch with a smoothie or choose one of the meals from the 28 Day Diet & Exercise Plan (there are meal options for every breakfast, lunch and dinner – and lots of snacks)
  4. You eat snacks during the day from our diet plans and snack suggestions on the website
  5. We show you how to incorporate easy and simple exercise into your life – no gym required
  6. All plans come with full guidance and our free Pink Weight Loss Bible
What else do you need to know?
  1. There is not a set number of calories on the plan or ‘banned’ foods. Everyone has a different BMR so we don’t set calorie restrictions and breastfeeding mums also need additional calories – you can work your BMR out here. Q2.How does the Healthy Mummy Smoothie work?

The smoothie has over 24 nutrients in, is high fibre, high protein and low sugar and can be used as your breakfast and/or lunch time smoothie.  We suggest adding in fruit and milk to your smoothie and blending in a blender.  As the smoothie is packed full of nutrients and key ingredients it fills you up, nourishes your body, gives you energy and helps you feel satisfied.

Q4.What is a typical day on the Smoothies like?

The plans are designed for the busy mum and a typical day on the plans are:

  • Breakfast – a Healthy Mummy Smoothie or a breakfast from the 28 Day Plan
  • Mid morning snack – one of the snacks from the website snack suggestions or a snack from the 28 Day Plan
  • Lunch  – a Healthy Mummy Smoothie or a lunch from the 28 Day Plan
  • Mid afternoon snack – one of the snacks from the website snack suggestions or a snack from the 28 Day Plan
  • Dinner – one of the recipes from the website recipe suggestions or a meal from the 28 Day Plan
  • After dinner snacks – one of the snacks from the website snack suggestions or a snack from the 28 Day Plan

Fluids – try to drink 2 litres of water a day and drink decaffeinated green tea too as this can boost the metabolism
Extra tips – you can have 1 x tbsp of cider vinegar before each meal – as this can boost metabolism and help control the appetitie
Exercise – Either follow the daily exercise on the 28 Day Plan or try and go for a 30 minute walk every day and get exercise at home tips from the website

We also suggest that breastfeeding mums have extra snacks during the day and do not allow themselves to go hungry as we burn more calories when breastfeeding so need to eat more

Q5.Can I use the plans and products when breastfeeding?

Yes you can. We have formulated the plans and products to be completely safe for breastfeeding mums. Provided weight loss is done in a safe and healthy way – without using drastic measures – losing weight when breastfeeding can be done.
