Winter is a time of snuggling and cuddling. It’s also the traditional time that people gain weight. Although weight gain might make us cuddlier, it can make us unhappy.
If we believe the statistics that the average person gains up to 4 kilos over winter then this should be a very sobering thought. Have a think back to the last 4+ kilos you lost. How hard was it to shift the weight? Do you want to go through that every year? We know we don’t!
Now that we know that winter is a dangerous time for our waistlines, if you want to avoid piling on the pounds there are lots of things you can do. The most important one is: don’t make the cold an excuse to sabotage your healthy eating plan (and that’s one we’ve learned through experience!).
There are so many gorgeous recipes that are low calorie and high in taste. For example, we think our healthy slow cooker recipes are yummy and they have already found some fans, why not give one a go and see if you agree?

The key to our winter weight salvation is to have a great plan. Then all you need to do is make it a no-brainer and stick to it. Do the right thing and you can enjoy winter without any guilt and if you’re extra good you could even come out the other side looking trim and fabulous. Come on we know you can do it!
